It was with overwhelming sadness that we announced the sudden and tragic passing of our Ellie, esteemed director, colleague, and friend 💔

Ellie Parr was a much loved and valued member of the firm and we are deeply heartbroken by her passing. She made significant contributions to the firm’s success and was an inspirational leader to all the team.

She worked tirelessly in creating a family work culture and it is thanks to her that the Houldsworth’s team has achieved this. We will forever be grateful to Ellie for her hard work, dedication, and friendship.

We will miss her many qualities - her technical excellence in commercial law, guidance, pragmatic approach, and fun-loving sense of humour.

Our hearts go out to her beautiful family - her husband Dan and her amazing children Arthur (Art) and Edith, her beloved parents, her sister Di, and her many, many friends.

On the 4th October 2025 we started our fundraising by doing a pub walk where we raised over £17,000.00.

We will now continue with various fund raising events in memory of our beautiful friend.
