Fish 2 Water Beachy Head Lighthouse Swim · 7 July 2024

Our projects provide food and income for communities, tackling poverty today. They also offer long-term change, improving the environment and soil fertility and tackling the effects of the climate crisis, for tomorrow. Thank you for your support.

Story

On the 7th July I will be embarking on an incredible challenge, swimming 10K to raise funds for Tree Aid!

I'll be swimming the 10k Beachy Head Lighthouse Swim from Birling Gap to Splash Point, Eastbourne, swimming past Beachy Head and the iconic Seven Sisters Chalk Cliffs.

I had the honour of visiting a Tree Aid project earlier in the year and saw for myself the incredible difference that trees can make to people. Please sponsor me today so that more people can grow trees, giving them a source of food and a means of earning an income.

Tree Aid work with people in the drylands of Africa. Led by local people, their approach focuses on four key areas, working to tackle poverty and the effects of the climate crisis by growing trees, improving incomes, and restoring and protecting land.

Their projects make sure trees thrive so they can provide food and incomes today and protect the environment for tomorrow.
