Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hello all, It’s me again 😊 And yes, it’s this time of the year for my “Annual 1,000 mile motorbike ride in under 24 hours.

Every year I raise money for charity by completing a 1000-mile endurance motorbike ride in under 24 hours. - And my next event is on the 9th June 2023.

My aim is to raise funds for the Royal Navy and Royal Marine’s Charity

However this annual motorbike ride has another important purpose??? For the 4th consecutive year, I will place a "special memento" at the Commando Memorial in Spean bridge, Scotland to celebrate the memory of Matt Maloney, a dear friend and former Royal Marine Commando who sadly passed away in 2019.

“The money received is to provide much needed financial and emotional support to help past and present Servicemen and their families. “

The agenda ? I will be setting off from my home at around 3am for the starting point at Squires Cafe in Leeds for a 6am start. The aim to travel to John O’Groats in Scotland and return in under 24 hours.

I will be doing around 1,200 miles in total from house to house and any donations, no matter how small will be most grateful.

To those who have contributed in past years to my charity motorbike rides I would like to pass on a huge thank you for your valuable support and I'm sure any individual or family who receive financial support from the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity will be eternally grateful for your donation.
