Ulani, Dre & Chanel Take on HYROX Cardiff!! 💪💚
Over the next two months, we’ve challenged ourselves to take on HYROX Cardiff – a race that pushes both body and mind. It combines running and functional fitness, where participants run 1km, followed by one workout station, repeated eight times. Think sled pushes, burpee broad jumps, sandbag lunges, and more… it’s tough — but we’re doing it for a cause that’s even tougher.
We’ve been training hard at The Village Gym Swindon, with the amazing support of our instructor Kerian and a fantastic crew of fellow gym goers. The atmosphere, encouragement, and team spirit have kept us going (especially during the early mornings and brutal circuits!).
We’re raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support, and each of us has pledged to raise £400 – enough to fund an hour of Macmillan’s Support Line, providing vital help and reassurance to people affected by cancer when they need it most.
There are currently over 3 million people living with cancer in the UK. Macmillan’s mission is to be there for every single one — from the moment of diagnosis through to treatment and recovery. But they can’t do it alone — your donations truly make a difference.
We’d be so grateful for your support — whether it’s donating, sharing our page, or cheering us on. Every contribution helps us reach our goal, power through this challenge, and, most importantly, support those facing cancer.
Let’s do this — for Macmillan, for our loved ones, and for everyone who needs that extra strength 💚
Thank you from all of us!
