On Thursday 7th August 2025, I will be cutting and donating my hair to The Little Princess Trust. I believe in their mission to provide real hair wigs to children who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as alopecia. I also chose to fundraise for this charity because I want to support their approach to funding research projects.

By the time I cut my hair, I will have been growing it for 948 days! On 2nd January 2023, I got a number 1 buzz cut and I've not cut it since. It has been a fun journey of awkward hair styles, and more recently a dedication to conditioner and man buns. You can see progress pictures in the photos album (top right of this page).

I was inspired to grow my hair and donate it because I've seen the difference it makes to those who need a wig. This was certainly true for my mum during her cancer treatment; the quality of life difference she experienced was remarkable!

Alongside this, I am fundraising for two other charities: Polska Akcja Humanitarna and Médecins Sans Frontières. I have enjoyed raising money for charity before and I'm hoping this will be my most successful fundraiser yet. I wish to raise a combined total of £5000 (€5800 or 25000zł) across the three charities. I need your support to achieve this goal!
