On Saturday 11th October, I'm taking part in 5k race through beautiful Regent’s Park!

I’m racing and fundraising for Home-Start Southwark because I believe every child deserves the best possible start in life, and that no parent should have to face the challenges of raising a family alone.

Home-Start Southwark is a lifeline for families who are struggling - whether with postnatal depression, poverty, loneliness, or the everyday pressures that can feel overwhelming without support. HSS trained volunteers step in with compassion, encouragement, and practical help, walking alongside families when they need it most. I’ve seen how transformative the work is - how it brings hope, confidence, and connection where it’s been lost. That’s why I’m putting my energy, my miles, and my heart into this race: to raise funds that will help more families feel seen, supported, and empowered. Every step I take is for them, and with your help, we can make sure no parent feels they have to cope alone.
