Story
Sewa is a Sanskrit term meaning 'selfless service to humanity and nature'.
Inspired by this term, HSS Sewa is fundraising for small to medium sized charities close to our neighbourhoods, and occasionally supporting major disaster appeals. These charities do amazing work, but most do not often get national attention.
As part of our drive to support community based charitable causes, each of our branches in over 65 towns and cities, aims to support at least one charity.
This year HSS UK branches in Slough and Maidenhead are raising funds for The Baby Bank Berkshire, who support families in extreme need throughout Berkshire and the surrounding areas to ensure all children have the best possible start in life.
Families are usually referred by health visitors, family support workers, midwives, teachers, housing officers, Army welfare officers and so on for support by the Baby Bank.
Please support generously!
Thank you.
*All donations will be donated to the selected charity. The Gift Aid portion shall be used for the minimal expense incurred such as printing and any other administrative costs incurred by HSS (UK).
