We are writing on behalf of Holy Trinity Dromore, in partnership with Fields of Life, to invite your support for a project that will transform the lives of children at Ukemu Primary School in North West Uganda.

Fields of Life works with churches and communities to ensure children can access quality education, clean water, sanitation, and training. Fields of Life identified 2 key projects in urgent need of support.

Children had been collecting water from a shallow, hand-dug well used by the whole community and located a long, hazardous walk from the school. We were able to fund a borehole on school grounds, providing safe water for drinking, cooking, and hygiene.

With only six toilets for over 450 girls, many struggle to attend school during their menstrual cycle. We are now raising funds for a new toilet block, washrooms, and reusable sanitary pads, enabling girls to stay in school consistently, learn with confidence, and avoid risks such as early pregnancy and early marriage. Our team would like to carry out repainting, purchasing desks and washing items, such as basins, washing soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste. This need is great.
