Shine is a charity that is very close to our hearts at HTF Legal. Throughout 2024 we will be raising money and encouraging our friends and contacts to support us through this page.

Why Shine? This charity played a huge part in the life of Helen's young nephew, Jack, who had hydrocephalus. Since losing Jack, the whole family has supported the charity in lots of different ways, particularly Helen's mum who even jumped out of a plane to raise money!

Helen's mum was planning her next fundraising challenge in Jack's memory - wing walking - when she passed away at the end of 2023. As a tribute to her courageous and fearless mum, Helen will be picking up the baton this year and walking on the wings of a plane herself.

Helen's wing walk will be one of a number of fundraising events and activities by the HTF Legal team during 2024. If you'd like to support us and the charity we would be incredibly grateful for your support.

If you're wondering what Shine does, it's a charity that provides specialist support from before birth and throughout the life of anyone living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, as well as to parents, families, carers and professional care staff. Shine enables people to get the best out of life.
