As King Charles sits in Westminster Abbey being adorned with some hefty headwear and a nice orb, we will be attempting to run from Carlisle to Newcastle across a route kindly demarcated by Emperor Hadrian a few centuries ago. Sadly ol’ Hadrian did not lay out his 83 miles of wall with the intention that two amateur runners would run its full length on foot, so it looks hilly and HARD. We’ll be running it over 3 days (just over 1 marathon per day) and would really appreciate it if you could make it worth our while by donating to the amazing cause we’ve decided to run for, a small charity called Our Second Home (OSH).

OSH is a great small charity dedicated to making the lives and crucially childhoods of young refugees and asylum seekers easier and add some fun into what is so often a difficult and frightening time. It does this by running residential trips.

On such trips, young refugees and asylum seekers come together. They cook together. Play games. Learn dances from each other's cultures. Many had their childhoods taken away from them and at OSH they just get to be kids.

The graduates of these trips take part in leadership training and go on to be the ones who take the reins. They help lead the movement.
