Story
I’m running 4 marathons in 2025 to support GIST Cancer UK
As many of you know, over the past few years, my dad has been battling several forms of cancer, including a rare one called a Gastro-Intestinal Stromal Tumour - or GIST for short.
Throughout it all, he’s been an absolute trooper. He’s my role model and despite everything, he’s met every treatment with strength, positivity, and resilience that continues to fuel me daily.
This year, I’m taking on a personal challenge to support a charity close to him - running four marathons to raise awareness and funds for GIST Cancer UK, a charity doing incredible work to support patients and fund research into this rare cancer.
My 2025 marathon lineup:
- Paris Marathon – April 13
- Midnight Mountain Marathon (Brecon) – June 7
- Oslo Marathon – September 20
- Naples Marathon - October 19
GIST Cancer UK supports patients across the country by providing vital information in hospitals, hosting support meetings, building online communities, and funding research to improve treatment and outcomes. They also work closely with the PAWS-GIST Clinic in Cambridge, the only clinic of its kind in the world.
If you’re able to support me – whether by donating, sharing, or cheering me on along the way – it would mean the world to me and my family.

Thank you – let’s go!
