This page is in memory of Hugh who passed away peacefully at home on 11th May 2024.

He loved visiting the Forest and spent many happy hours there with his late wife, Jenny, and their children and grandchildren. He would often make a detour for an ice cream and he would have enjoyed the thought that we were helping to preserve the Forest for generations to come.
