Story
On 20th June I will attempt to run from Philadelphia to New York in 24 hours to watch two FIFA Club World Cup games. All in aid of raising money for an amazing cause - Common Goal.
I work for DAZN, the world's largest sports streaming service, and this month we're broadcasting every FIFA Club World Cup game free. For those who don't know the Club World Cup is a tournament where the best clubs from each continent battle it out to find out who is the undisputed world champion.
Anyway, DAZN wanted to do something for charity around it. Most people suggested a bake sale or a raffle. pretty vanilla right. It didn't feel right. DAZN are making a big splash so my idea had to be BIG. So what did I suggest...
I suggested running 100 miles from Philly where Chelsea are playing on 20th to NYC for a game at the Metlife stadium on 21st.
100 miles in 24hr... As much as i love running... I fear this could actually be a challenge.
I'll be running for a charity called Common Goal. A charity focused on delivering change in over 90 countries through the power of football. I'd be so so appreciative of any donations!
