Ironman Triathlon 2023 · 31 December 2023 ·

Through producing high quality theatre, dance and film we aim to challenge prejudice and transform the lives of people with a learning disability. Blue Apple is committed to the development of integrated and progressive opportunities within the arts for people with learning disabilities to raise the ceiling of expectation and advocate for the development of a more inclusive and equal society. The increase in confidence gained through stage performances has helped Blue Apple participants to enhance their social, personal and artistic skills and achieve public recognition for their talents.

Story

With just a few weeks left until race day, myself, along with Tom, Will, Wilf, and Harry, will be participating in the Aix en Provence Iron Man 70.3 on May 21st. Coincidentally, this date also marks my wonderful older sister Torsie's birthday. Together as a supportive family, we have watched Torsie, who has Down Syndrome, blossom into an independent joyful woman living in the heart of Winchester.

Throughout Torsie's journey, there have been remarkable organisations that have played a large role in her life. One such organisation is the Blue Apple Theatre, a charity that focuses on theatre, singing, dance, and film for individuals with special needs and learning disabilities. Blue Apple is renowned for their dedication to providing integrated and progressive opportunities in the arts, challenging societal expectations, and advocating for a more inclusive and accessible world.

Blue Apple is a cause and charity that deserves recognition for their valuable work. We kindly request your support and any contribution you can make towards this great cause. Your generosity will be immensely appreciated!

Thank you.
