Hello,

I’m taking part in Pedal 4 Patients 2026 to raise funds for the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity.

In September, my good friend Biren and I will be cycling 183 miles around Cornwall over three days to support the incredible work carried out by the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust.

Over the past 18 months, my family experienced traumatic childbirth and prematurity, which gave us a real appreciation of the care provided by NHS teams during such difficult moments. In the coming months, some of our closest friends will also be relying on this Trust as they prepare to welcome their first child into the world. And, like many families in the area, we’ve seen first-hand how life-changing this care can be - including my father-in-law, who recently had a successful knee operation and can now walk properly again.

Taking part in this ride felt like a small way to give something back to the wonderful NHS teams who support so many people across Cornwall.

Funds raised will help enhance patient care by improving facilities, providing advanced equipment, supporting innovative research, and helping to look after the wellbeing of the NHS staff themselves.
