Every Christmas since I was little, I have always loved decorating my house. And for over 8 years the Grotto has been evolving, getting bigger and bigger. I love the lights and how it makes people smile going past. One of my favourite things to do at Christmas time is to go around and view other people’s decorations and I can appreciate the hard work that goes in to it.

Since Covid19, I've wanted to keep helping Willowbrook Hospice as it is very close to my heart. Willowbrook helped a very special family friend during her final days of her life and I have always been thankful for the care they gave her.

They also supported my Grandad as he got older and helped him which I will always be grateful for.

Willowbrook took a hit during Covid and I would like to keep helping them as much as possible. Each year we try to evolve the grotto a bit more and we have Father Christmas' sleigh with some reindeers on the front which is a great photo opportunity, feel free to sit and take as many photos as you like. We hope this brings Christmas cheer to the children (and adults as well). We do our light testing a few weeks before to ensure all lights are in working order and may get a few more light additions.. but please don’t be worried about the electric bill, they are low energy bulbs that cost less than a Maccies to run 😘 !!
