Story
At just 3 years old, Oliver was diagnosed with Autism—an entirely new and unfamiliar journey for us as a family. But everything changed when, at age 4, we discovered Blackpool Tiggers—an incredible charity run entirely by dedicated and passionate volunteers.
Since then, Blackpool Tiggers has become a lifeline. Oliver has thrived in their weekly trampolining sessions—a space where he’s always welcomed, supported, and celebrated for who he is. As a family, we’ve found not only a safe and inclusive environment, but a truly special community that lifts each other up. We've shared unforgettable experiences, made lifelong friends, and felt part of something bigger.
12 years on, Oliver is still bouncing with joy—and he’s even started volunteering with this amazing charity himself!
Blackpool Tiggers continues to provide vital support to families of children with Autism, but like many charities, they rely heavily on donations to keep going.
To help raise funds, Barry and I have decided to take on a challenge that’s well outside our comfort zone—a skydive! While Oliver is absolutely thrilled (and we suspect he might enjoy it a little too much), I’m still coming to terms with the fact there won’t be any cocktails served at 12,000 feet…
If you can, please consider donating to support this fantastic cause. Every contribution, big or small, helps keep the Tiggers bouncing and changing lives—just like they did for us. 💙
