Why We’re Fundraising for Grow with Trellis

This year, the Hunter Hub’s Annual Giving Campaign is proud to support Iiyika’kimaat, a program of Grow with Trellis dedicated to Indigenous youth.

The program supports Indigenous youth aged 12–21, creating space for them to build confidence, belonging, and leadership through culturally relevant programming. Using a strength-based approach and the Circle of Courage framework, Iiyika’kimaat helps youth explore their potential, strengthen their sense of identity, and imagine positive futures for themselves.

At the Hunter Hub, we believe entrepreneurial thinking starts early with confidence, connection, and the belief that your future is worth building. Iiyika’kimaat reflects these same values by removing barriers, centring Indigenous worldviews, and investing in youth as future leaders and changemakers.
