Story
The loss of Mr Hill has rocked the Thorpe Community and 9-year-old Hunter would like to fundraise in his memory for a charity that supports mental health.
Hunter was taught by Mr Hill last year and he has chosen to do a sponsored Litter Pick with his brother, Rudi, in memory of Mr Hill.
Hunter did a litter pick in year 3 and Mr Hill then helped him set up a lunchtime litter picking club and shared his awareness of the need for litter picking in the sea and beyond. He made Hunter feel so special for looking after the environment, and supported him so much throughout his time in year 3, which resulted in him having the Best school year.
The litter pick will take place at Sir George Morse Park starting at 10am on Saturday 29th June. Anyone is welcome to join Hunter and Rudi.
