Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.

Story

Members of the Huntsmill Team, a few of our extended family and Russell from Spiritfilled are embarking on an exhilarating challenge to conquer the UK's three highest peaks within 24 hours on the 13th May 2025. Our mission? To raise vital funds and awareness for the UK Sepsis Trust, a cause close to our hearts.

Sepsis claims thousands of lives every year in the UK, and its impact on families and individuals is devastating. The UK Sepsis Trust works tirelessly to end preventable deaths from sepsis and supports those affected by this condition. By taking on the Three Peaks Challenge, we aim to contribute to their life-saving work, ensuring that more people are aware of sepsis and its symptoms.

Our journey will see us tackle Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England, and Snowdon in Wales, battling unpredictable weather, physical exhaustion, and the clock. But the thought of making a difference in the fight against sepsis gives us the strength and determination to push through.

We need your support! Every donation, no matter how small, helps the UK Sepsis Trust continue its critical work. Together, we can save lives and support those affected by sepsis. Please donate generously and help us spread the word about our challenge and this crucial cause.

Thank you for your support. Let's take on the peaks and make a peak difference!
