I was extremely fortunate to experience a high-quality education when growing up and am acutely aware of the benefits it's given me and how crucial a factor it is in where I am today.

I believe education is the most powerful way to change a person's life trajectory and is crucial to building a well-functioning society. This is why I’ve chosen to run and fundraise for Literacy Partners in the New York marathon.

Literacy Partners is an incredible organization that uses a two-generation approach to literacy, working with parents to improve the outcomes of children and the whole family.

Parents are their children's first and best teachers, and Literacy Partners provides a safe, culturally sensitive place for parents to grow their language and literacy skills while also sharing knowledge and techniques to engage and build their children's language skills.
