🌟 About Our Challenge

This summer, the team at HW Facilities, clients, suppliers and members of the K|24 gym at Westbury, are coming together to take part in our Alternative Heptathlon – a fun, flexible fundraising challenge designed so that everyone can get involved, whatever their fitness level.

Over two weeks, we’ll be taking on a mix of seven activities - completing them individually and together - all to raise as much money as possible for Dorothy House.

💙 Why We’re Fundraising

Dorothy House provides vital care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families and loved ones. Their work makes a real difference to so many people, and we’re proud to support them.

Every donation, big or small, will help them continue delivering compassionate care when it matters most.

🏃‍♀️ What We’re Doing

Our Alternative Heptathlon is built around seven activities that can be completed flexibly, making it accessible for everyone:

🥾 Surrey Seven Hills Hike – an 18-mile group walk

🚶 7 Mile Bath Skyline Walk

🚴 70 (Cumulative) Miles of Cycling

🚴‍♂️ Seven Station Circuit (at K24 Gym, Westbury)

🚴 Seven Spin Classes (at K24 Gym, Westbury)

🏊 700 metre swim

🎉 Seven lunchtime office activities (including quick-fire quizzes, cupcake decorating, “Beat the 7” challenges and more)

People can take part in one, some, or all of these—whatever works best for them.

🤝 A Team Effort

This challenge is all about bringing people together—whether you’re getting active, cheering others on, or donating to support the cause.

We’ll be tracking progress, sharing updates, and celebrating milestones along the way—helping to keep everyone motivated and connected.
