Gaza is in crisis. Over the course of just a few days, more than 2,329 Palestinians have been killed, including at least 724 children , as well as health workers and journalists . Hospitals, mosques, water sources and residential buildings are being struck without warning, wiping out entire neighbourhoods. Those who escape seek shelter in schools, but the schools have also been targeted by bombs.A complete siege has cut off all food, water, fuel and electricity to 2.3 million people. Terrifying scenes show clouds of smoke engulfing the entire horizon.

The electricity supply to Gaza has been cut, plunging overcrowded hospitals into chaos. Before this escalation, families faced extreme difficulty in accessing enough food and water – 97% of water here is too contaminated to drink.

Hospitals and ambulances have been struck, and nine healthcare workers killed. Schools are closed, and morgues have run out of space, forced to store bodies on the floor.

 A staggering 432,000 people have been forced to flee their homes, seeking shelter in UN schools, but at least 4 of these have been damaged in the bombings - there is no safe refuge as the bombs continue to rain down.
