Story
I’m running this marathon, my first (and probably last) to raise funds for RETAS Leeds (Refugee Education Training Advice Service), a charity that supports refugees and asylum seekers to rebuild their lives through education, training and employment.
RETAS works with people who have often faced extreme hardship, helping them gain English language skills, access education and qualifications, and move closer to meaningful work. Donations will help fund one‑to‑one advice, ESOL support, youth mentoring and practical guidance that gives people the confidence, skills and opportunities to build a safer, more independent future.
Every mile I run helps RETAS continue this vital work in our community.
Thank you so much for your support.
