Story
Hi, on Christmas Eve 2019, I got diagnosed with testicular cancer. With a young family of 3 boys and a little girl on the way, it was a worrying time for myself and my wife. 3 years later, I’m still in remission and now only required to attend the hospital every 6 months for check ups. It’s time to help those who need supported through what can be a devastating time of their lives.
This is the idea of our 3 young boys Jude, Shea and Heath who have understood more about what happened and the disease as they’ve gotten older. They wanted to do something to help others in the same situation.
Please come along to Alford Ski Centre on Saturday 22nd of July from 3pm until 7pm as we try and complete a Ski-athon for MacMillan. We will ski for 3 and a half hours continuously in the hope of completing a set total of miles. We would love it if you and your little ones could join us on the slope.
There will be a tombola, beat the goalie and hopefully some refreshments so please bring cash for further fundraising.
Thanks for supporting my fundraising. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.
