On Saturday 6th June 2026, I’ll be playing at the Vindico Arena in the Allstars Cymru event as part of the Barbarians a team made up of players each supporting charities close to their hearts.

I’m raising money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of my father-in-law, Robert Richardson, who we sadly lost in 2025 to a heart attack. He loved sport and was always asking about and supporting my ice hockey, so this feels like a fitting way to honour him.

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK, but hundreds of families are still affected every day. Every donation helps fund lifesaving research, even £24 could pay for two hours of research time.
