On the 8th June 2026 Iain set out with his Dad to climb Liathach in Torridon. He had been planning the walk for a long time, he was well prepared and conditions were good but Iain stumbled and fell on the ridge. Sadly Iain did not survive the fall. The quick response and support of the Torridon Mountain Rescue team on the day was invaluable. As a family we would like to fundraise in Iain's memory to support the amazing volunteers at Torridon Mountain Rescue to be able to continue aiding other walkers on the hills.
