On Saturday 13 September, myself and several former work colleagues plus others (the Northern Pacers) will be undertaking the Northumberland Coast Mighty Hike – a 26 mile walk from Alnwick Castle to Bamburgh Castle – in order to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Cancer has touched many, many people to a greater or lesser extent, so we'd be so grateful if you could help us reach our £9,250 pledge. This could provide people living with cancer, and their families, essential medical, practical and emotional support.

There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you. If you could find your way to spare a few quid to help us reach our target, it will be really appreciated.
