#TeamAction Action Medical Research has runners taking part in the 2026 TCS London Marathon. They will be taking on the 26.2 mile route and helping sick and vulnerable babies and children!

Story

We are joining forces for the 2026 London Marathon to raise vital funds for Action Medical Research, the UK charity dedicated to saving and changing children’s lives through groundbreaking medical research.

As parents, this cause means a great deal to both of us. Dani has two wonderful children, and Ian has a daughter, so we both understand how precious good health is and how vital this research can be. For more than 70 years, Action Medical Research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths. Their work has already transformed millions of lives, but there are still so many children who need help.

Dani Rowe MBE is an Olympic cycling medallist, Commonwealth champion and mum of two, now taking on the challenge of 26.2 miles on foot. Ian Arnold is a dad who has run every single day for more than 1,000 consecutive days and is completely in love with the process and the sport of running.

Together we will take on every mile for the babies, children and families who need new treatments, cures and hope for a brighter future.

Every donation helps fund life-changing research and gives more children the chance to grow up healthy and strong. Please support our fundraising and help us make a real difference.

❤️ Donate today and help us cross the finish line for those who can’t.
