Story

Ian had a lifelong love of the sea. He loved swimming and diving from an early age, a passion that eventually led him to work as a commercial saturation diver in the North Sea. He had a deep respect for the sea and the people who risk their lives on it - which made the work of the RNLI particularly close to his heart.

Your support will help continue their vital mission, saving lives at sea.

Thank you for your generosity and kindness in remembering Ian.

Stonehaven lifeboat station is crewed by volunteers, who provide a 24 hour search and rescue service. We rely on the support of our local communities to power our lifesaving service. Your support will help the running of lifeboat stations like Stonehaven and, ultimately, help to save lives.
