Story

I have always wanted to run in the London Marathon and what better way than running for a great charity. The monies raised will be split across 3 areas through Leicester Hospitals Charity that mean alot to my family. Please help in any way you can. Every £1 makes a difference... no amount is too small.

🥰CANCER clinic / treatment ward in honour of so many we know who have had to use this clinic. If like us you've had family or friends undergo cancer treatment you'll know waiting times can be long on days of treatment as facilities may be limited. Through our fundraising we want to help make things a little easier.

🥰MESOTHELIOMA research and unit in honour of Ian's Uncle Iain and his Dad Jim who were supported all the way from Glasgow. Did you know Glenfield Hospital has one of the leading MESOTHELIOMA units in the country? Both Uncle Iain and Jim passed away from this cancer caused by asbestos and we would like to support this unit to support other families to have hope and a few extra weeks, even months through specialist treatment.

🥰NICU ward... Neonatal Intensive Care unit in honour of our son Nathan who spent his 1st week there and we didn't know if he'd survive. Luckily with the specialist care received he did and we would like to support them to support more families going through the most terrifying days.

Donating to Leicester Hospitals Charity enables them to enhance the services, care and environment in the three hospitals in Leicester- Leicester General Hospital, Glenfield Hospital and the Leicester Royal Infirmary. Your donation really can make a significant difference to how people feel, how well they respond to treatments and how quickly they recover. The smallest gift really can help so please, support our fantastic fundraisers and help them raise as much money as possible for their selected area in the hospital or the area of greatest need.
