My daughter, Abigail, and I are taking on an incredible challenge—hiking up Snowdon overnight to reach the summit just in time for a breathtaking sunrise—all in support of Longfield Hospice, a charity that has touched the lives of so many people we know.

Longfield Hospice offers compassionate care to those facing life-limiting illnesses while providing vital support to their loved ones. Their work has personally impacted our family—helping my mother-in-law (Abigail’s grandmother) as she cared for her husband with Alzheimer’s and bringing comfort to many friends who have lost loved ones to cancer. Beyond supporting those left behind, Longfield ensures that individuals in their final moments receive dignified, compassionate care, surrounded by kindness and respect.

Beyond fundraising, this challenge is also a special experience for us. Life gets busy, and Abigail and I rarely get the chance to spend quality time together. Taking on this trek side by side means the world to us, and we can’t wait to share this journey.
