Ian's fundraiser for Motor Neurone Disease Association in memory of Dad, Brian.

RideLondon - Essex 2024 · 26 May 2024 ·
In May 2012, I lost my dad to Motor Neurone Disease.
Almost exactly 12 years later, I will be participating in the RideLondon - Essex 2024, a 100 mile bike ride to raise funds and awareness for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
MND is a rapidly progressing disease that affects the nerves in the brain and spinal cord, impacting basic functions like walking, talking, eating, drinking, and breathing.
With no cure currently available, I am determined to support the MND Association's vision of a world free from MND. Your support is crucial in this journey.
Even a small donation can make a significant impact:
£120 could provide an overbed table for someone with MND to eat, drink and read safely and comfortably in bed;
£280 could fund care coordination at a Care Centre for a year;
£500 could provide a tablet device with specialist communication software for someone to connect with loved ones.
Your generosity will not only spur me on for this challenge but also make a tangible difference in the lives of those battling MND.
Thank you for considering to donate towards this cause.
