I'm running to raise funds to help research into Shwachman Diamond Syndrome which is a rare genetic, life limiting disease . This cause is intensely personal. My eldest son Cameron has this disease and he has struggled all his life with poor health and the mental hardship of facing the fact that many with this disease die young through cancer. It is phenomenally hard to watch your child suffer and if by raising some funds he and other sufferers get a chance for a full life then it is incredibly worth while.
