I am raising funds for Dementia UK. I am planning to have a full Head Shave (Thanks to Genius Barbers, Norwich) to raise funds on 20th May 2023, in memory of my Dad.

In February 2023, I lost my Dad to Vascular Demetia, a disease he fought for 7 long years. Vascular Dementia is a horrible disease, in which we watched him deteriorate over time.

Memory Loss, the ability to do simple day to day things and loss of his mobility were just a few of the symptoms of Vascular Dementia. Thankfully, he managed to keep his sense of humour, which kept our spirits high.

Dad was lucky to be supported by his six children, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, sons and daughters in laws and of course Mum since his diagnosis, and throughout his long battle.

Unfortunately, there are people who are less fortunate, and don’t have a strong family support network.

This is where Dementia UK help, with support from their Admiral Nurses. They offer support and advice to families, to help them through the difficult times that lie ahead of them. The Admiral Nurses were a great help to us, we cannot thank them enough for everything they did for us.

I know times are hard, and money is a bit tight. However, just a small donation will go along way. Thanking you in advance.
