Brainkind is a charity doing amazing work across the country and, along with our extended families, is an organisation very close to our hearts.

As you can see in their Bio above, they do amazing work. The skill compassion and dedication of every member of the Brainkind staff across the UK, but in particular at Daniel Yorath House in Garforth, are our inspiration for this year long marathon.

As its Ian's 60th year on the planet, we'll be swimming at least 60 miles EACH over the course of the year and if all goes well perhaps include an open water swim at the end of summer/early Autumn still TBC.

We hope to be able to raise as much as we can to present to the heroes at DYH in December 2026, so please look up Brainkind and the work they do and follow us on here for regular progress updates.
