Launch Foods are a registered charity tackling food surplus and helping to feed kids in Glasgow since 2018.

Launch Foods is open to all kids no matter their circumstances at home, there is no judgement, the mission is to ensure kids don’t go to bed hungry allowing them to focus in school on their education and learning.

Working with our amazingly kind and generous food partners, we put perfectly good food to good use (instead of landfill), providing over 300 meals a day to vulnerable children in Glasgow. Using food trucks means the experience for the children is upbeat and fun avoiding the stigma that free food carries.

While we can’t solve Glasgow's child poverty problem alone, we want to bring greater attention to this complex issue and give hope and inspiration to young people in need that a brighter future is possible. Our teachers have a huge part of their curriculum dedicated to Sustainability and the environment and love that the children feel they are helping Launch with these important and topical issues.

We generate our own income through Launch Coffee a community Investment company which serves delicious food, coffee, and cakes all made with fresh, high-quality produce. When you purchase a Launch product all profits go back into our charity. Launch Coffee contributes all its profits to ensuring the 750,000 free meals provided so far is on the increase.

The team here at Launch Foods want to do some fundraising of our own for our amazing charity that we are so proud of.
