We are raising money in memory of our lovely Dad, the artist, Ian Emes.

Ian was a prolific animator and film maker who was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2022. He was given 6 months to live but defied the odds and survived 15 months and fought to the end.

Whilst receiving treatment at UCLH, Ian was struck by how many young people were affected by leukaemia and wanted to do more to support them on their journey battling this shitty disease. The money raised here will go directly to Leukaemia Care UK, a leading charity who provide information, advice and support for anyone affected, this includes patients and their friends and families too. Their team personally supported us during Ian's illness and we'll be forever thankful to them and all the NHS staff who were at our side throughout.
