On 12-15 January Ian and Iryna drove a pick-up truck to Poland. The vehicle together with 3 other trucks and vans was handed over to representatives of charity Ukrainian Action who took it into Ukraine.

The funds raised by our generous suporters were, and continue to be, needed to cover the costs of this and other similar journeys paid by the Charity and/or us. The cost of each journey is about £600 (principally fuel costs). With your help, our aim is to continue to cover the costs of more truck/van delivery journeys which will be made during 2024, and/or towards the general funds of Ukrainian Action.

The Charity buys vehicles in the UK (Pickups, Ambulances, SUVs) and then drives/donates them to Ukrainian volunteers known to the organisers. The vehicles are filled with donated or purchased supplies (Medical, humanitarian, protective, and generators). These vehicles save lives by distributing humanitarian aid to liberated areas and evacuating wounded servicemen so they can receive urgent medical attention.

Ukrainian Action is an NGO dedicated to supporting the survival and development of Ukrainian Citizens. It is 100% volunteer run with no staff costs and is registered with the UK Charity Commission with Charity Number 1202133 (and in the US as a non-profit organisation).
