I am Headteacher at Caton St Paul's Primary School and our wonderful member of staff, Helen Larkin passed away on May 22 2025. Mrs Larkin was loved by the whole of our school community and we miss her dearly - every day! She spent her last weeks in St John's Hospice and the care that Helen and her family received, and are still receiving, was phenomenal. To raise money for SJH, and in memory of Helen, I am training to try and complete the Morecambe marathon in September - quite a feat for an old man like me who has never been a natural runner! Any money you can spare will go directly to SJH and the palliative care that they deliver.
