Story
One of the most amazing people I have ever had the privilege to know is fighting the battle of her life. Samantha is one of the most amazing, hardy warrior princesses ever, she has such amazing support and a massive cheering squad but sadly the battle is hers alone. As much as we’d love to wade in, take up our weapons and fight the good fight for her all we can do is wait in the wings and do what we can to make the battle a little easier. She has our full and unwavering support and as such we will be fundraising for another massive support to her in St. David’s Hospice. I could write a novel about the amazing work they do, not just for her but for the wider community. They offer in home treatment to help retain independence as well as hospice in patient care the shape of pain management and respite care. I’m sure when you hear hospice you think end of life and they are so much more than that. This is something I’ve learnt recently, after being scared of the word ‘hospice’ I now know it’s not just where we go to die. From social groups, to support, respite and so much more, this is a cause that deserves our time, respect and gratitude. To this end I will be completing an 8 hour stationary bike ride at Inner Tiger Fitness, Milford Haven on 3rd January 2026.
I know they will be there for me if I need them so I will be there for them now
Dig deep, this is a good cause
Much love
Ian
