I'm taking part in the City of Lincoln 10k 2024 as part of Team Helimed 29 supporting Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance! This is my first 'Official' run since 1996!!

The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance is one of the UKs leading Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) Charities, funded purely by the generosity of people like you! They are not part of the NHS and not funded by the Government.

I personally assisted at the scene of an accident, where a Helimed attended on the A1 to a person with a broken leg. When time is a factor 'Helimed' is a major advantage, for initial intervention and ultimately delivery to the appropriate hospital, not necessarily the nearest.

At a time when every second counts, the arrival of their iconic yellow helicopter really can mean the difference between life and death.

LNAA transport the equivalent of an A&E department to people suffering from the most serious of illnesses and devastating injuries, providing the best possible treatment as quickly as possible.
