We fund research into childhood cancer to save and improve young lives

Story

I will be taking on the challenge of trekking Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa which stands 5895m above the savannah of Tanzania. It's a 7-day trek

I have chosen to raise funds for Children with Cancer UK who for 35 years have funded much needed research into the causes of childhood cancers, and the development of better, kinder treatments as well as funding initiatives that support children and their families through cancer treatment and beyond.

Their work has contributed significantly to a marked increase in childhood cancer survival rates and improved quality of life for patients.

The trip is self funded and every penny raised will go directly to the charity.

I'll post pictures once I reach the top !!

Training has started properly now - Yorkshire 3 peaks in record time in May.

Ben Nevis - 27th June 2024

Freezing cold, horizontal rain and snow.

Scafell Pike - 28th June 2024

Weather was a bit better today !!!
