Chiltern Dog Rescue society re-homes hundreds of dogs. These can be unwanted dogs, strays, dogs who's owners are ill , have passed away, are divorced or who are just unable to care for them any more.

The Chiltern Dog Rescue Society has a long history of rescue and rehoming and continues to grow thanks to the dedication and enthusiasm of its many supporters, volunteers, members and Trustees.

We are raising funds to support bereaved dogs whose owners have died and who need caring for.

We, as a group who met at school, aim to drive from Hertfordshire, via Calais, Bruges, Eindhoven, Nijmegen, Arnhem , Antwerp, Mons, Dunkirk and back to Hertfordshire, around 1200 miles in pre 1957 cars for this very worthwhile charity.

We are aiming for the bridge at Arnhem in the Netherlands, the scene of the heroic defeat for the 1st British Airborne Division in WW2 and the subject of an excellent film

The question is "Will it be a bridge too far?"
