Norman, Me and Our Tom is raising money for Bury Hospice
Donations cannot currently be made to this page

Manchester to Blackpool Bike Ride · 14 July 2024 ·

Bury Hospice provides palliative and end-of-life care to hundreds of residents and their families across Bury. It will cost to run the Hospice this year £4.8million and we raise 83% of this total, but with the support of our community we continue to provide care and services to those who need it.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

For the last few years Norman and myself have taken part in the Manchester to Blackpool charity cycle ride. It's a great day out, good exercise and a chance to raise funds for important charities.

In the past we have raised funds for British Heart Foundation, Christies, Bowel Cancer UK and Neuroendocrine Cancer UK. All these charities have helped our friends and families at different points.

This year we have decided to raise money for Bury Hospice.

An added bonus this year is that our "peloton" will be strengthened by the addition of two other riders. Tom Walsh will be flying in from Vienna to take part for the very first time and keeping up morale whistling Mozart's greatest hits as we go. Steve Marciniack, a well seasoned rider with form in this event, will also be joining us fresh from the Tour de Holland.
