Running 100 miles for Brain Tumour Fund

Ian O'Donnell MBE is raising money for Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity

Rollin 100 · 25 July 2026

Help QEHB Charity support more brain tumour patients and their families when they need us most.

Story

I am running One Hundred Miles to fundraise for the QE Brain Tumour Fund.

This is double the distance I’ve ever run before in one go and will be a challenge to both mind and body; just like friends who’ve faced the challenge of battling brain tumours.

So as I face the challenge I will be thinking of friends who are facing a far bigger battle and a path, unlike me, they didn’t choose to tread.

So please give generously so that when my legs and brain are screaming at me to stop, your donations will give me the inspiration to continue knowing that I’m making a difference by doing so for something far more important than just the satisfaction of ticking off a personal challenge.

QE Brain Tumour Fund fund world-leading research, cutting-edge equipment and 'added extras' that make a patient's time in hospital easier.
