Story

You probably know that I have the great privilege to lead this amazing charity. Project 500 is our fundraising campaign to raise £500,000 by June 2025 so we can provide more mental health support in nature to those who really need it. It's about growing this fantastically innovative and impactful charity - hitting 'escape velocity' as I like to call it.

Mind Over Mountains is a ground-breaking charity helping people overcome mental health challenges through therapeutic outdoor experiences. Our specialist wellbeing walks and retreats bring together professionally guided hill-walking, mindfulness, and quality time with experienced coaches and counsellors. Last year, 91% of our participants said that our events had had a positive lasting impact on their mental health.

And so I'm going to be completing eight different 3 Peaks challenges between now and September, which by my maths means 24 different peaks in 2024. Each of the 3 Peaks challenges are special and relevant to me in different ways - and I'll let you know why as the challenge progresses over the next few months. But each walk will also give me the chance to walk and talk in nature with some of my favourite people. And that's what it's all about, after all...

Thank you so much for your support!
