Ian's 100km for Rainbows Hospice

Ian Staveley is raising money for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People

Team: Team Roseacre Ultra 100km Jurassic Coast

Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge 2026 · 16 May 2026 to 17 May 2026 ·

As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, we brighten the short lives of babies, children and young people who come to Rainbows. We want them to have fun and make special memories. We are also here to support their loved ones through the most difficult times of their lives.

Story

In May 2026, I’ll be taking on the Jurassic Coast 100km Ultra to raise money for Rainbows Children’s Hospice.

Rainbows is an incredible charity that supports children and young people with life-limiting conditions, as well as the families who care for them. The work they do is truly life-changing, providing comfort, care, and moments of joy when families need it most.

I’ll be completing this challenge alongside colleagues from Roseacre Pub Company, pushing ourselves for a cause that genuinely matters.

This will be a brutal physical and mental test, but it’s nothing compared to the challenges faced by the families Rainbows supports every day. That’s why we’re doing it.

If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean a great deal.

And if you can’t donate, a share would be hugely appreciated and really helps spread the word.

Thank you for supporting an amazing charity. 🧡
