Story
In 2025, after 19 miles of the London Marathon, Rachel, my then fiancée, collapsed with heat stroke. Thanks to the quick response and treatment from St John Ambulance staff, after a worrying stay in hospital, she recovered (in time for our wedding!) and we’ll both always be grateful for the care she received.
That day could have ended very differently — and was a stark reminder of how vital the work of St John Ambulance is at events like the London Marathon and beyond.
In 2026, I’ll be running the London Marathon not just for the challenge, but to raise funds for the organisation that helped save Rachel.
Please help me to hit my fundraising target by making a donation, and support the lifesaving work of St John Ambulance.
Thank you!
