Brain Tumour Research is the leading voice of the brain tumour community and focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. We are campaigning to increase the national investment in research to £35 million per year and funding sustainable Centres of Excellence across the UK.

Story

Ian and Sophia are raising money for Brain Tumour Research by taking on a challenge throughout August. Ian will be cycling a big 620KM and Sophia will be running 168.7KM - which is the equivalent to 4 marathons!

In 2020, Sophia’s sister Elle was diagnosed with a brain tumour. The tumour has since recurred, and she underwent a second operation this summer to remove 99%+. She is currently recovering and making great progress each day. Her strength and resilience has been truly amazing and inspiring!

Ian is raising funds in memory of his brother-in-law, who sadly passed away ten years ago from a brain tumour.

We kindly ask for your support in helping us raise as much funding as possible for this important cause. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference and contribute directly to finding a cure for all types of brain tumours.
